Intro Lesson Hip Hop
The lesson focused on Hip Hop culture, and the B-Boy BBQ.  We discussed the “true” meaning of the culture, and how it started.  Hip Hop started in New York City in the late 70’s as a way for urban youth to express their feelings about everyday happenings in their communities. We also learned the four elements of Hip Hop culture: DJing, MCing, graffiti, and B-Boying.  Our lesson centered around the art of Hip Hop, and it being a path for youth to express their creativity, skill, and love for all people.Word of the Day graffiti
